Good News or Bad News First?
Ok, so I've been very ill the past week. I have not run in 9 days because of it. FINALLY, yesterday I was able to get into my Dr's office for the second time in a week and get some antibiotics and a new inhaler. Ahhh, I can breathe again!
Now for the bad news ( I always like the bad news first)... I have to withdraw from my 1/2 marathon on Sunday. I don't have the lung capacity, the energy or the training over the last week to do it. I've never dropped out of a race this big before, and I've definately never dropped out of a race I've paid for before. So, the silver lining is that I am getting better and should be able to get out for a short jog this weekend. Right after I....Drum roll please for the good news.... get my Jimmy Buffett tickets for June 29th in CT!!!!!!

Dropping out of the race is a small price to pay if it means you can breathe again. I hope you feel much better soon.
What a bummer, Michelle. I am glad you are better. WooHoo for Jimmy Buffett. It's five o'clock somewhere!
