This is a cause that is very close to my heart. My Mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in May of 2003. she is now cancer free and I thank God. I hope you will join me!

After the birth of my daughter, Maggie in 2002, I found it difficult to regain the motivation to get out there and pound the pavement.  Well, I'm now signed up to run the Disney Marathon in January, 2005.  My slow training started officially last week and this weekend I will kick off my race schedule with the Beach to the Beacon in Cape Elizabeth, ME.
Today with a little help from my husband and darling daughter we managed through 5 miles in the 83 degree heat in under 50 minutes.  (Thanks, Dianna for the idea of Rails.) 
So, I'm back on the road to running!
